The Florida primary is just days away. Here are the major dates to get you ready to vote on March 17, Florida Primary Election Day.

  • February 18: Last day to register to vote 

  • March 14: Last day to request an absentee ballot

  • March 17: Last day to send your completed absentee ballot

  • March 17: Florida Primary Election Day

 BE READY WHEN YOU GO TO VOTE 

 BRING A PHOTO ID 

Florida requires voters to show photo ID when they go vote. If you are voting early or on Election Day, make sure you bring an ID. 

  • Florida driver’s license

  • Florida identification card issued by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles

  • United States passport

  • Debit or credit card

  • Military identification

  • Student identification

  • Retirement center identification

  • Neighborhood association identification

  • Public assistance identification

  • State of Florida concealed weapon or firearm license

  • Employee identification card issued by any branch, department, agency or entity of the Federal Government, the state, a county, or a municipality

  • Veteran health identification card issued by the United States Department of Veterans' Affairs

Register to Vote Before Feb. 18

To vote in the Florida primary, you need to be registered to vote before Tuesday, February 18.

Request an Absentee Ballot

If you prefer not to vote in person, be sure to request a ballot through your county before March 14th. You must be registered to vote to obtain an absentee ballot.

Vote in Person on March 17

Find your polling place to vote in person and make your vote count.
